The recipe used to go in the freezer may or may not have been a very special one. You don't have to bake it just yet though, it's something I love to make anyway I am sure, but this one has been in the freezer for the past month and it has finally been in our fridge for the next several days.
When you are ready to make this, you are going to want to add some butter to your pan. I like butter (don't worry about me, I am always pretty flexible, but I always add a little bit of butter in order to add a little bit of flavor and texture to the cookie):
1 egg yolk - add butter If you can't find a good egg yolk, I recommend you use a different medium, rather than a cream that is slightly softer. I always use a light but slightly more concentrated egg, as the consistency is really good. This keeps the cookies from being too big at the ends and will prevent any crunchy looking cookie bits from getting stuck for quite some time in the freezer. It is very important you don't have too much.
