1 - 2 cups water
A small apple (about 1 1/2 cups)
3 - 4 peeled green apples roughly cut into small pieces
Cumin seeds (optional to add salt)
Cajun black pepper
2 tsp. dry rub + ½ tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. chili powder - 1/2 tsp. jalapeno pepper Instructions In a large bowl, finely chop up the garlic and the water. Add the spices and ginger and mix until creamy. Cut the apples into large strips and put them in a container. Combine the water, spices and jalapeno. Pour into the sauce pan, add the apple to the pan and cook until it cooks through. Add the chopped apples and stir until well combined. Then allow the apples to cool to room temperature. Allow the apples to cool in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Makes 12 quarts (1 inch long)
