1 lb. pork roast
12 oz. bison bone ribs
4 oz. red onion, diced (2.5 to 3.5 pounds)
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine all of the ingredients in a well-coated bowl and toss into the pork roast. Cover the ground pork and cook over medium heat, about 12 minutes. Remove and gently cook, removing skin from sides. Once tender, begin adding broth and continue to cook until the skin is soft and cooked through, about an hour or less.
